At Tanpopo, we see language as the foundation for thriving in a global environment. In our online lessons, we use established Japanese textbooks such as the Minna no Nihongo series for N5–N4 levels and the Shinkanzen Master series for N3 and above, mainly covering grammar, vocabulary, and reading skills.
Our students come with diverse goals and fluency levels—from test preparation and professional communication to managing everyday life as parents living in Japan. Because every lesson is one-on-one, tutors can tailor the content to each learner’s needs, pace, and objectives.

As a founder with a strong background and interests in science, Astrid also integrates *STEAM and **SDGs-based themes into her teaching, helping learners develop the language skills needed to engage with science, technology, and the wider world.
Whether your goal is to pass an exam, succeed at work, or have smooth communication in daily life in Japan, consult us and we will do our best to support.
Notes:
*STEAM = Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics
**SDGs = Sustainable Development Goals
